Outerverse

As the revamp of the Info & Data Center progresses, I have arrived at BOTP3's Info Site.  To start out with there's not going to be much NEW content, mostly revamped stuff.  Next time I update it just may be to put a big red DONE stamp on the site. :)

Hiatus 04.13.2003 > Outerverse

I took a short break from the reconstruction of BOTP3 to work on My Site for a little while.  That and I got sick of copy-and-pasting text so today is going to be a minor update.  I switched the titles in the Profiles and Stories from italics to normal to match with ISH's updates in Outlaws because it looks better that way anyway.

Progress report 04.05.2003 > Outerverse

Now up to the 40s in the Story data. It's actually been easy going from about 30 on since those were never switch from the old IDC4 versions.  Stories from "I love it when a plan comes together." to Wave Man Prime have been updated.

Revamp Progress 03.27.2003 > Outerverse

Started converting the story data over to the new format, so by the time I get to the 80's I'll actually be adding NEW stuff for a change.  :)  Stories from Me First! to Norfair Rock Rumble have been updated.

A couple things happened with this update.

First, there was a major screw-up on my part.  Apparently I never put up Tako's stats on the IDC...EVER.  Well now they're up and everything is spokey-dokey.

Second, as part of the new IDC revamp, the BOTP3 IDC is being reconstructed which means I will be getting the stories completed FINALLY!  Also, because of the size limit of the new design I've had to make a NEW logo.

Finally, an old features are coming back!  The wallpapers & font pack are back and our Audiophile, Badger, is working on getting the Soundtrack back up.

All stories up to The Briefing are up...However, only a few pages have been revamped to the new look.

Reconstructing the Info Sites Part 2 10.20.2002 > Outerverse

The remakes of the Info Sites are under way after much procrastination!  I'm revamping the ENTIRE design to be more streamlined and easier to navigate/update.  When used in conjunction with the NEW IDC design, it's even easier to navigate around the entire Info Sites & the IDC.

For the time being Story Data will be down on each, but that will be re-added in due time.

A lot has happened since the last update.  Mostly superficial updates, right up to the point where I accidentally deleted all of the info sites.  All of the info for BOTP 1-3 has been restored from the last back up I had.  So some of the links are still broken.

BOTP3 was the least heavily hit.  Aside from some broken links, nothing had changed.

Well that should do it for getting up all the BOTP sections.  <G>
Now all that's left to do is get up the rest of the battles and stories. :P

I'm signing off for a while again.  So, if there are any broken links or the like, tell ISH and he'll straighten them out.

Update 12.03.2001 > The Insane Space Hunter

Well, first of all, this is The Insane Space Hunter, holding the reigns of the IDC for the first time in more than a year. Outerverse is offline for a while, so I'm holding down the fort and backing up the IDC on my own personal files.

BOTP3's done with, and I'm not going to fool with the board archive... don't QUITE want to go to the trouble right yet. Pending the lateness of Outerverse' return, I might get around to it... hopefully, Wave Man won't bugger with deleting the content of the board until BOTP4 finally rolls around.

I hope not, anyway... don't have the time to download the whole blasted thing anyway.

As for the updates, I fixed the little title of the "BOTP4 Rules" to say BOTP4 rules instead of BOTP3 Rules and I'll be fixing a couple of little typos here and there. Other than that, I'll just mainly be backing things up from here on out; that's what Outerverse wanted me to do.

Well BOTP3 is now over, all it needs now is an epilogue.  Then I can go about the tasks of doing a final board archive and posting the final stories.

All in all BOTP3 had some problems but the writing was the best yet.  Hopefully BOTP4 will have even better writing, but without the blight of BOTP3.

In other news: The Information & Data Center has a new face!  A new look for a new BOTP!

On a more personal note: Thanks to ISH and WaveMan, there have been some new faces appearing in the "Who's Online?" box from time to time.  I would like to invite them to join us in BOTP4.  The BOTP4 sign up opens on February 1 2002!

Also, BOTP: Legends has been removed...it had the potential to cause too much confusion.

Today the World Trade Center & the Pentagon were attacked by terrorists flying commercial jets into them.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims.

This is not the original post.  For the longest time the IDC lacked the September 11 but since it is a part of our history and of BOTP3 history I have put the image back up.  I said we won't forget but somehow the site did, and it never will again. -Outerverse
