What's worse than a half finished site?  One that has an identity crisis.  I've converted the BOTP5 section over to the current look and have made some heavy edits to better organize the archive...and because it didn't show right in Firefox.  :P

Oh and ALL of the profiles are now up.  Yay me!

Well, I buggered up the whole Outlaws-logo-linkage-to-the-Index-page thing, which is now fixed. Also, the copyright information is only supposed to be on the index page of each section... so I fixed that as well.

Finally, all the Character Profiles have a revamped format that fits better in your average monitor at your average resolution... thanks to Outerverse, who figured out that weird things would happen if I stuck with the format that I was using, with the character names in the header with the whole "Character Profiles" bit. All the character profiles that are up so far (in whatever form they may be up in, complete or not) now reflect this change.

Well, back to pulling all the character profiles down from the board... an assistant webmoster's work is never done.

Dear Diary... er, updates page,

Today, I added Kane's profile in full to the Character Profiles page, and put a few placeholder pages in for Mecha Sonic, Badger, Ffej, Sarah, and Johnny C. to help establish the framework for the Profiles section. They're just placeholder pages now, but they'll soon have content in them.

Also, I was perusing the site and checking the integrity of my updates when I came across something odd. Exclaiming "What the crap?!" and going back through all the pages, I realized that there were no links to the Standings page. Anywhere. So I fixed that; there's now one on the main page and one on the Story Data page. The only other place it might belong is on the Board Archive page, but that will (eventually) contain my Standings Post from the board, where I got all the info for the Standings page here in the first place.

I thought about adding it to the navbar, but now that the BOTP is over, there's no real reason to have it up there. It's accessed just as easily from the Story Data page and the main page, anyway.

Well, I went around and updated just about everything that's on the site right now... the Board Archive (though there's nothing in it yet), the Miscellaneous section (containing the Official BOTP5 Soundtrack Song Listing), the Character Profiles page (which currently only has my profile in it, plus a link to the brand-spanking-new Stats Format page), the Standings page (final as of the end of BOTP5), the Story Data page (once again, sans-content save my take on Outerverse's original "Section Currently Unavailable" cut-and-paste crud :P), and... er, okay, that was all. Oh, yeah, forgot the Rules page, which now, instead of having a duplicate copy of the Stats Format Page, has a link to it instead. Makes sense.

Fixed a couple of malformed links in the update previous to this one (to the BOTP2 Board Archive, to be exact) that Outerverse pointed out... I goofed up. But it's okay now. Other than that, I've simply established the framework to put more stuff in places where I want it to be.

Oh, yeah... BOTP5 is over, making everything blissfully final. No more on-the-fly mid-battle updates for me! (not that I've made any in recent history, but you get the idea)

Happy New Year... no, wait, it's more like... er... Easter. Well, sooner than New Year, anyway.

Outerverse's new IDC is in the works, and he's finishing up BOTP3 & 4. Me, I get BOTP5... er, Outlaws... and I'll be stripping the EZBoard popup and advertisement code from the BOTP2 Board Archive when I get finished with at least part of the Outlaws content. Which there currently isn't much of, thus why Outerverse called me out of my retirement laziness to help out. :P

Dates for Outlaws have been set.  Sign-up begins Jan 1 2003 & the action begins Feb 1 2003.  The board is just about ready to go by this point with just the colors left to be worked out.

As for the story, it's a rip-off of the Outlaw Star anime.  It seemed the most appropriate for the name.
