Physical Stats
Height: 5’10"
Weight: 130-ish.
Appearance: Shade looks fairly slim, but she’s also well-built. She has jet black hair that reaches down to around the small of her back, which she sometimes ties back into a ponytail or braid. Two furry ears protrude from the top of her head. Her eyes are deep blue, slanted, and have slitted pupils. She has a long, furry tail, and it’s a bit poofy.
She hates it. Shade normally wears a bodysuit and a trenchcoat/cloak over it. Her hands aren’t cat-like, but her fingers are long and have sharp fingernails. Her feet, however, are another story - they’re shaped like paws, though her legs are like a human’s. Both her feet and hands are furry, as are most other parts of her body, except her face and torso. Her fur, like her hair is black.

Miscellaneous: She’s omnidextrous, and sometimes even does cat actions. Shade sits almost like a cat, licks her paw to clean her ears, scratches her head with her feet... the list goes on. (How she can do this without the structure of a cat’s legs is sort of hard to explain.)

Personality: Shade doesn’t talk much, and is fairly mysterious. she’s not too friendly and often seems cold, and if you really get to know her, she might get a little more friendly, but not by much. She’s quick to point out other people’s mistakes and low points, and is fairly opinionated and voices her opinions loudly. She’s also very painfully truthful. Also, she cares mostly about no-one but herself most of the time, and refuses to let herself get attached to people.
Family: Two sisters, back on her home.. moon.
Friends: None, as she just recently came to this planet and doesn’t socialize much.
Enemies: Same as above.
Background: When she was younger, her parents were killed in a battle
of a war that had been tearing her world apart. After this, her two older sisters began to take odd jobs to help pay for their home, food, and other necessities. Instead of helping her sisters earn money, Shade ran away, deciding it’d be better just to take care to herself. She traveled to many places, taking odd jobs wherever she could find them and often finding herself sleeping on the street. Eventually, she decided she didn’t want to stay on the war-ridden world and took on a job with people that were traveling to another planet... which is how she got to where she is now.


Character Abilities

Skills: Being a cat-human, she has cat-like reflexes, and speed. Her vision and hearing are also better than a human’s. However, also because of her cat-like form, she’s a bit more fragile, and easily hurt. However, she’s trained herself to have a high pain tolerance, and would keep fighting no matter how hurt she is, until she either wins or falls unconscious.. or in extreme circumstances, dies.
Armament: Shade normally uses a pair of elbow blades to fight. However, if disarmed, she can extend her claws about 2 inches, on both her hands and feet. She can even use her fangs.
Protection: She has little protection, and relies mainly on her speed
and reflexes to avoid attacks. Her bodysuit is made of a thick, resilient material, but it’s still not gonna stop a sword or a bullet.
Style: Shade’s style is self-taught. She never had any proper training with elbow blades, but she picked them up and trained with them for a long time before she had a powerful, speedy style. The way she fights seems very fluid, almost like a dance more than fighting.
