Posting Guidelines:
1. Posting comments the Battle Forum
As always, random chatter and non-battle stuff should be posted in General Discussion.

2. Continue Thread vs New Thread
Only start a NEW thread ONLY if your story is totally separate from the others or it takes the story in a totally new direction.

3. Plots and Plans
Since the BOTP is freeform there should be NO WHINING if your plot gets screwed.

2. Your character and battles
You can write about yourself and set up battles about yourself, but once the battle starts, the outcome's out of your hands...someone else has to write the outcome.

3. Once your character is dead or you quit, that's it they're done
You can write about other characters, but your guy is going to have to sit out the rest of the Battle. You can still continue to contribute and are encouraged to do so!

4. Transformations (if used) are temporary
Anyone can do it...if they want to. I'd rather not see EVERY character transform but it'll be allowed.

5. ALL bios should be formatted using the Character Data Sheet

Name: (full given or proper name.)
Alias: (only if applicable, nickname or known-as name.)
Age: (how old your character is in earth years and/or their native age.)
Sex: (are they male, female, or something ELSE?)
Race: (are they human, elf, demon, cyborg, etc?)
Occupation: (what does you character do outside of BOTP6?)
From: (where your character is from.)

Physical Stats
Height: (how tall your character is in feet and inches.)
Weight: (how heavy your character is in pounds.)
Appearance: (short description and/or a picture of how your character looks.)
Miscellaneous: (other info about your character, like which hand they use, or other miscellaneous info that doesn't apply to the above)

Character Abilities
Skills: (what can your character do? if he/she has special powers or skills, list them all here. anything from hacking to telekinesis goes here.)
Armament: (what does your character use to fight, if anything? list and describe anything and everything the character has weapon-wise, if applicable. guns, blasters, swords, or anything your character might be packing.)
Protection: (does your character have armor or anything else that may protect him or her from an attack? if so, list and describe them here.)
Style: (how does your character fight? do they know martial arts? which of their weapons do they use more, and how do they use them? do they have special powers, such as spellcasting or some other such ability that would have a reasonable application in battle? describe your character’s fighting style here. details are good, but keep it simple.)

Hit the highlights, or go nuts and post lots...we'll tell you if there's enough info. Basically we want to make sure that you're really interested and not just fucking around.

Once we're satisfied we'll stamp it APPROVED and you're officially entered. If we decided you need to make edits, you won't be allowed to post until we're satisfied.
